Reminiscent of master paintings, Desiree Dolron, seamlessly blends the historical with the mythical. The glowing skin of the dead and living from her Xteriors work extrudes a ghostly melancholy narrative. Her Gaze collection somberly invites you into the "dead" sea of beautiful specimens. I believe I am so drawn to them for my fear of drowning, though it wouldn't be as peaceful as these photos; I could look at them for hours.

Of Fairy Tales and Cotton Tails

When I see the artwork of Courtney Brims, I fall into a tissy of childhood fantasies. The combination of animal and human is quite breathtaking, hair weaves with tentacles and hard edges merge with soft flowing angelic forces. Looking long enough I could imagine myself through the eyes of her lovelies being enraptured by ghost stories, daydreams and fairy tales.

Braving the Cold - Edmonton Boudoir Photography

Hello everyone! It's been a while. So I've started the week off with much delight, yesterday I was contacted by a previous customer from Scade Photography, she had purchased the Gunslinger necklace from my shop last Christmas and ending up using the necklace in a creative photoshoot shot for fun this past winter. Mind you the sultry lovely lady modeled in 14 degree weather, what a trooper! The original plan was to shoot in the beautiful sunlight, however the overcast gloom added so much. Below are a couple of my favorites and a wonderfully done photo collection of the shoot, I am just in love with the model's pale skin and piercing eyes.

Stop by the to read about braving the cold for this photoshoot!
