Falling for Pink

I never can get enough pink in my life, seeing pink rouge makes my heart melt and sweet pink sunsets are to die for. I thought I'd share some pink favs, my studio and pink in the shop.

Inspired by Cherry Blossoms

As artists, we look towards nature, lost memories or find one piece that can inspire new works of art. This past weekend, I was inspired by this beautiful 8x10 photograph of Cherry Blossoms called Cherry Cream photographed by Lauriann Wakefield. Her shop is brilliant and I could envision many of her brightly whimsy photos, all clustered together to make a wall of delight. From her photo, blessed with pale blushes and soft petals, I created two pieces that have a soft feminine touch.

It's Sunday again! A long week but a final day of the weekend to enjoy, before I head up to my pops I thought I'd share some new beauties.

~ 1) Pale lavenders matched with the vintage appeal of brass filigree, these Majestic Crocus earrings are a perfect combination for romantic elegance.

~ 2) Hooray hoorah, sis boom bah! These Blush Pompon drops are so cute and girly; made with baby pink vintage lucite beads matched with gold, they are sure to put a smile on your face.

Sweet Vintage Delights

Nothing compares to vintage, I tend to use alot of vintage beads and pendants at Red Heart 13. I love going to flea markets, my favorite is when I find a whole necklace stranded with remarkable colors, bead caps, lucite or glass beads. I finally took some time last weekend to match together some beads I had lying around my office. Here are some new vintage listings from Sugar Plum Tree.

The 300th Buyer!

It has finally arrived, I've almost made my goal of getting 300 sales. I am one away from my 300th sale! There is a lovely surprise in store for this lucky person who makes the 300th sale, a small token of appreciation will be sent along in their package. Could be earrings or a bracelet! It has been such a journey from my first sale in Aug of 2007 to now, last year alone only 56 sales compared to this year, a huge jump of 243 sales! My new goal for Red Heart 13 is to get at least 50 more sales during this holiday season, come on we can do it!
